A pedestrian argument

My feet disagree
with the sun rays
falling on auburn

I stomp the dry,
discarded, decay,
until they crunch
their confession –

It is Autumn!

  1. I can hear them begging for mercy and cracking under the strain as the truth is pressed out. Yours is a very novel take on a simple seasonal circumstance and for all its brevity gives the reader the image, sound, even the vibration and movement of the act. This is top class poetry.

    • Thank you, Mike, for your generous and warm encouragement (I can’t find a good emoticon for blushing). It’s not often I get to play with autumn leaves in evergreen Auckland!

  2. My spouse and I stumbled over here by a different web page and thought I may as well check things out.
I like what I see so i am just following you.
Look forward to looking into your web page
    for a second time.

  3. I know this site preseents quality based content
and other material, iis there any other web page which provides these kinds of stuff in quality?
